With 2016 approaching, many new movies are coming out.
This is a list of movies to look forward to in the New Year:
1) Kung Fu Panda 3: the newest release in the hilarious Kung Fu Panda series. What’s it about? “When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible-learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.”

2) Zootopia: The newest Disney/Pixar flick after The Good Dinosaur. What’s it about? “In the animal city of Zootopia, a fast-talking fox who’s trying to make it big goes on the run when he’s framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Zootopia’s top cop, a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they’re forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends.”

3) The Divergent Series: Allegiant: the sequel to Insurgent, the third installment in the Divergent Series, and the first part of an adaptation of the book Allegiant. What’s it about? “After the earth-shattering revelations of The Divergent Series: Insurgent, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. 4) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: the sequel to Man of Steel. What’s it about? “Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”

5) The Jungle Book: the live-action, computer-generated reboot to the 1967 animated movie of the same name, which are both based on Rudyard Kipling’s book of the same name. What’s it about? “Mowgli (Neel Sethi) is a boy who was raised by the Indian wolves Raksha (Lupita Nyong’o) and Akela (Giancarlo Esposito). When the fearsome Bengal tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba) threatens his life, Mowgli leaves his jungle home. Guided by Bagheera the black panther (Ben Kingsley) and Baloo the bear (Bill Murray), he sets out on a journey of self-discovery. Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who do not exactly have his best interests at heart-including Kaa (Scarlett Johansson), an Indian python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (Christopher Walken), a Bornean orangutan-resembling Gigantopithecus[1] who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly “red flower” (his name for fire).”

6) Ratchet & Clank; the film adaptation and origin story of the Ratchet & Clank video game series. What’s it about? “Ratchet and Clank tells the story of two unlikely heroes as they struggle to stop a vile alien named Chairman Drek from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy. When the two stumble upon a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire planets, they must join forces with a team of colorful heroes called The Galactic Rangers in order to save the galaxy. Along the way they’ll learn about heroism, friendship, and the importance of discovering one’s own identity.”

7) Captain America: Civil War: the third movie in the Captain America series, which depicts Iron Man and Captain America clashing. What’s it about? “Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. ”

8) The Angry Birds Movie: the film adaptation of the extremely popular mobile game, Angry Birds. What’s it about? “The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis, We’re the Millers,Horrible Bosses), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad in his first animated role since Frozen), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride,This is the End, Eastbound and Down) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.”

9) Alice Through the Looking Glass: the sequel to the 2010 Alice in Wonderland. What’s it about? “Alice returns to the whimsical world of Wonderland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter.”

10) X-Men: Apocalypse: the sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past and ninth entry in the X-Men series. What’s it about? “Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.
